Terms & Conditions

Last updated: 6/07/2026

These terms apply to your use of the Penenator website and to any purchase of Penenator products. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to them.

1. About us

Penenator Pty Ltd (trading as Penenator Roof Penetration Flashings), Cawdor, QLD 4352. ABN 11 255 161 015 (ACN to be added once issued). Contact: info@penenator.com.au · 0499 181 829.

2. Products, pricing and information

We aim to keep product information, specifications and images accurate, but minor variations can occur. Prices are shown in Australian dollars, excluding GST unless stated; GST is added at checkout. Prices and product details may change without notice, but changes won't affect orders we've already accepted.

3. Orders

Your order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we confirm it and/or dispatch the goods. We may decline or cancel an order (for example, if an item is out of stock or a pricing error occurred) and will refund any payment in that case.

4. Payment

Online payments are processed securely through Shopify Payments / Stripe. You confirm you're authorised to use the payment method.

5. Delivery

We ship within Australia. Delivery timeframes and costs are set out in our Shipping information and at checkout. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

6. Installation & product limitations

The Penenator must be installed in accordance with the current Penenator Installation Guide and accepted Australian roofing industry practices, and only by a suitably qualified, competent or experienced roofing contractor or installer familiar with metal roofing systems.

The installer is responsible for selecting the correct Penenator model for the specific roof profile, roof pitch, penetration size, roofing material and application, and for ensuring all associated products — rubber pipe boots, fasteners, sealants, fixings and accessories — are compatible with the roofing material and correctly applied and maintained.

The current Penenator range (Small, Medium, Large and Roof Vent) shares the same Custom Orb corrugated profile and installation method. It is recommended for roof pitches of 14 degrees or greater, and can be installed down to 5 degrees — but below 14 degrees the reduced roof fall means pooling or ponding can occur, so correct undersealing (particularly at sheet laps and joins) is an essential step.

Future models built for other roofing profiles may differ — always refer to the Installation Guide for the specific model.

Once installed, ongoing inspection and maintenance of the penetration, sealants, fixings and surrounding roofing is the responsibility of the building or home owner, particularly after severe weather, building movement or roof works. Full details are set out in our Installation Requirements & Product Limitations.

7. Product warranty

Penenator products carry a 10-year product warranty covering manufacturing defects, provided the product has been installed in accordance with the current Penenator Installation Guide and accepted Australian roofing practices. Failure to install the product in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions may void the warranty. The warranty does not cover damage or failure arising from incorrect installation, incorrect model selection, installation outside the product's specifications (including the Custom Orb model on roof pitches below 14 degrees), misuse, modification, or the matters listed under "Limitation of liability" below. This is in addition to your Australian Consumer Law rights.

8. Intellectual property

The Penenator name, logo, site content and product designs are the property of Penenator Pty Ltd or used under licence. "Penenator" is a trademark of Penenator Pty Ltd (trademark registration in progress). The product is Patent Pending. You may not copy or reuse our content or branding without permission.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law (and without limiting your Australian Consumer Law rights), Penenator Pty Ltd is not liable for any loss, damage, defect, leak, water ingress or consequential loss resulting from:

  • installation contrary to the Penenator Installation Guide;
  • pooling or water ingress on roof pitches below 14 degrees where the installation has not been correctly undersealed;
  • incorrect installation or workmanship;
  • failure to adequately seal the installation;
  • failure to underseal roof sheet joins where applicable;
  • use of incompatible roofing materials, sealants, fasteners or accessories;
  • incorrect selection of the Penenator model for the roof profile or application;
  • structural movement, roof design or building defects;
  • modifications made to the product after manufacture; or
  • normal weathering, ageing, lack of maintenance, or damage from extreme weather beyond the product's design parameters.

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any rights or remedies that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law or any other applicable legislation.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.
